Lexington Youth Lacrosse is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit whose mission is to introduce, teach, and expand youth lacrosse to Lexington and nearby communities. It is our belief that the sport of a lacrosse provides a unique opportunity to develop individual athleticism, cultivate the team-work experience, and foster creative problem solving. Through our integrated and age based programs, we provide a fun, competitive, and instructional environment for young lacrosse players that not only prepares them to play at the high school and college level, but also teaches them the value of setting and attaining goals.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Lexington Youth Lacrosse relies on community support to keep the game accessible, safe, and enriching for players of all backgrounds. Here are some of the ways you can make an impact:

  • Volunteer Your Time
    Help coach, organize events, manage logistics, maintain equipment, or serve on our board—your time and expertise are vital to our success.

  • Provide Equipment for Players in Need
    Help us supply helmets, gloves, sticks, balls, and goalie gear to ensure every child can take the field.

  • Offer Financial Aid & Scholarships
    Make it possible for families to participate regardless of financial circumstances by covering registration fees and travel costs.

  • Keep Fields Safe and Ready
    Support the cost of field permits, maintenance, goal repairs, and lining for practices and games.

  • Invest in Coaching Development
    Enable our volunteer coaches to attend certification courses, clinics, and access training resources to better serve our players.

  • Run Off-Season Training Programs
    Fund winter clinics, wall ball challenges, and summer sessions to keep kids active and improving year-round.

  • Enhance Player Safety
    Provide essentials like mouthguards, first aid kits, and updated safety gear for our teams.

  • Grow Participation Across Ages and Genders
    Help us reach more players through outreach efforts and support the continued development of both boys’ and girls’ programs.

  • Host Team and Community Events
    Contribute to fun, community-building experiences like end-of-season celebrations, team dinners, and parent appreciation nights.

  • Hire Professional Coaches for Advanced Training
    Bring in experienced coaches to lead specialized skill sessions, position-specific training, and player development programs.
