Please be aware of the current requirements for participation (more information about the Town of Lexington's requirements can be found here.)
Group size is limited to no more than 12 total participants, including coaches and staff. Larger playing areas and surfaces, such as ball fields, may be used by more than one group of 12 at a time.
In order to participate or attend, participants, volunteers, coaches and spectators must show no sign or symptoms of COVID-19 for at least 14 days.
Please ensure your child understands that players must maintain 6 feet of distance at all times with no contact between players.
Players should wear masks when arriving and departing the field or during times when social distancing is not possible on the field.
Each athlete will be limited to one adult chaperone for spectating, pick up, and drop off.
All spectators must wear face coverings.
Signs will be posted about where to enter and exit the field.
Players must achieve proper hand hygiene by using provided hand sanitizer before and after practice.
Players should go directly to their designated quadrant and place all their belongings on a cone and wait there for further directions.
Restrooms will remain closed.
Water fountains will be shut off, therefore please ensure your child has a water bottle labelled with their name with them at each session.
Any participants, organizers, spectators, volunteers and facility employees in a high risk category should not participate or attend any organized sports activities.
GIRLS U7 (Grade K) Spring 2021
U7is a perfect fit for Kindergarten players who are just starting out in youth sports, and more importantly, families who are new to Lacrosse. With both fall and spring seasons, players have an opportunity to learn the basics of lacrosse in a fun, positive and active environment. Our one session per week structure (Sundays; April-June), allows players & families to try Lacrosse without a large commitment. We will focus on basic movement skills that build confidence and ability to play lacrosse through dynamic, non-contact challenges, such as Squirrels & Nuts, Musical Cradling, Sharks and Minnows and more!
Whether your player is just starting lacrosse or if this is her 3rd season, U9 welcomes all players with all experience levels. This level builds on the lessons, skills, and fun of prior levels. Practices are on Sunday afternoons in the Spring (April-June) and are broken down into two segments. The first focuses on training with fun familiar challenges, such as Squirrels and Nuts and Sharks and Minnows, as well as new challenges like Hungry Hippos and Steal the Bacon. In the second half of each session, players participate in small sided scrimmages which gives players a new experience and understanding of the game of Lacrosse.
Our Little Patriots League is a perfect fit for Grade K-1 players who are just starting out in youth sports, and more importantly, families who are new to Lacrosse. With both fall and spring seasons, players have an opportunity to learn the basics of lacrosse in a fun & instructional environment. Our one session per week structure (Sundays; April-June) allows players & families to try Lacrosse without equipment or a large commitment. Each week players learn the sport of lacrosse through dynamic non-contact challenges, such as Squirrels & Nuts, Terrible Towel, Jedi & Stormtroopers, and more! Sessions will also feature mini-games, and in the spring, this level participates in our in-town lacrosse league.
Grade 1 players may choose between the Little Patriots League and Colonel Parker League (highly competitive Grade 1 are encouraged to join the Colonel Parker’ League).
Please note that during registration, you will be asked if your son has a current MBYLL number. If he does not, you will need to click the link in the red banner at the top of the registration page to get a number. You will not need a separate US Lacrosse membership this year.

Colonel Parker’s League builds on the lessons, skills, and fun of prior levels, but adds the element of equipment (required for participation) which truly gives players a new experience and understanding of the game of Lacrosse. Sessions, which are on Sundays in the Spring (April-June), are broken down into two segments. The first focuses on training with fun familiar challenges, such as Terrible Towel and Jedi & Stormtroopers, as well as, new challenges like Hungry Hungry Hippos and Capture the Flag. In the second half of each session, players participate in our in-town lacrosse league game schedule. Additionally, in the Spring, Grade 2 players have an additional weekly session that teaches higher level game play.
